The first of these two, not a big fan of the effect, its a bit grainy in negative form, and just seems a bit rough around the edges
the second...man, i LOVE that shadow!! its perfect with the wedding band, really amazing idea with it. If you had LR, or just any other photo editing software, I would add a .25 stop of exposure, up the contrast, and crop a smidge to focus on the ring/shadow (and move it off center)...its got lots of potential to be great!
perhaps even shoot the second one closer, more in frame, and use the offset of the shadow and the ring to make it a non-centered composition, and shallow DOF to really emphasize it..its awesome in concept
