Funny, I'd say the same thing about not having a telephoto in the bag.....
Try isolating a player on the soccer field, or a ballet dancer on the stage, with a wide angle, it can't be done.
Well, unless it is the goal keeper and the action is on the other side of the field, and you run out there past security to get right in his face for the shot......
