and i got these...

and i thought this was too damn cute... the doggie has goggles...

these are pretty much right off the damn camera with very little editing at all... and it was the first time i have ever shot anything going 200+ mph... i had a ton of fun doing something different and i wanted to share with y'all because i thought y'all would enjoy them...

how hard was it to follow the planes? you use ai servo or just manually follow em?

I had the camera in my hand manually following these guys... It's more fun that way! After a few passes you know their flight path for tricks... Luckily they flew right over me and I had a 70-300mm lens on with uv filter and a polarizer as I was shooting into the sun most of the time...

agreed! I have a special place in my heart for diptychs. (Which a couple of your shots seem to have formed)

There is nothing like the sound and feeling of thousands of pounds of thrust going over 200 mph 300 feet above you! Ahhhh! I wish there was one every month!!

I need to edit some so that they are actually viewed as diptychs... I noticed that they had combined that way and really liked it... Looks like I'll know what I'll be doing on my time off tomorrow... Lol!
