G8 GT photo tips
The second one is currently my wallpaper. I know the picture is FAR from perfect, but I think it looks ok. How do you guys like the difference? I darkened and cropped it quite a bit. Any other photoshop tips you guys might have (besides removing the big pole)? I love taking pictures and improving on my skills so any tips would be appreciated.

IMO the second one looks way to dark. you lose all the detail of the car and it just blends in with the leaves in the background. i think you could do some minor tweaks to the OG one and come up with a much better result. contrast, saturation, ect. BUT... if YOU like the photo and its for you, then thats all that matters
just my .02

Saturation+Vibrance+contrast will surely give you a better final product but use in moderation. Example +50 vibrance, +25 Saturation, levels and curves lightly adjusted for more contrast.

Id say crop it slightly, get rid of the pole as stated.. and yeah play with the curves a little and the hue/saturation.. the dodge and burn tools are also very good for lightening or darkening subjects

I'd also suggest if you can, to move about the car and shoot when you don't have light flares on the car which shine right into your lens, and I find with the side on shots its easier to keep them clean reflection wise using a tele-photo zoom and zooming in .. helps keep ones reflection out of the side
. A circular Polariser wouldn't be a bad thing to try out either helps one to see through the windows at certain angles too.Cheers Tb DR
