What lens are you using? To me it looks a bit soft, softer than what a D60 should typically produce with a Nikon lens. Kind of like its not focusing correctly. The head on picture of the tail light for instance should be a lot sharper than that. Do you get the 18-55 kit lens or did you get the D60 body only?

Yeah P-bucket is pretty bad with their compression, if you plan on doing this more I would look in to using another site for hosting. I use Smugmug myself and love it, and its only 40 bucks a year for unlimited space for the most basic package, which is good enough for anyone not uploading video.
And also, shoot RAW! It's amazing how much sharper it is than jpeg, even at the finest setting. Once I learned Lightroom, I went RAW and never turned back ![]() Also, going through them again, theyre missing some pop. I dont know what you use for post processing, but I would maybe add some contrast to give them a little more depth.

Ha, glad I could help! It's a really nice program, and it's a blast to learn. Just wait. And if you buy a smugmug account, there is a really nice plugin for LR that lets you upload directly to your smugmug account right from LR, no need for browser based uploading. Makes things way too easy lol.
