Hot Rod HDR shot - AutoPhotog : Photo Enthusiasts/Pros Forum

Hey guys...almost forgot about this forum! Anyway, a little while back they had a big car show/cruise out here, so I went quick to snag a couple of shots (literally only a couple). I was actually headed in to town to snag some **** from the grocery store, and saw a bunch of classics running around, and remembered that the show was that day. Well, it was raining its butt off out, and I had the woman and our kiddo with, so I wasn't able to stay out there long. I ended up taking a Best Buy plastic bag and tore a hole in it, slid it over the lens, and used 2 hair ties to keep it there so I could shoot in the rain. Anyway, this is the best shot I got in the 30 minutes I was out there. Hope you guys like it. I thought it turned out rather decent, minus the ugly caddy in the background :( This is my best HDR to date...

very nice! what hdr program do you use?

Thanks! For this shot I used CS5's Merge to HDR Pro...but I've been playing around with Photomatix more and more. If it doesn't work in one, I'll try it in the other one. They both work great once you get used to them.

what kind of car is that?

Don't know the specifics on the car, other than its an old 20's, most likely a ford. But thats all speculation. Sorry.
