Tenba Shootout Sling (medium)....

Since this section is DEAD.....

Picked up a Tenba Shootout Sling bag (medium) recently. I've got the Tenba Shootout Backpack in medium, but it is a "big" bag for carrying everything. I wanted a quick pack for "grab-n-go" stuff.

I'm working with a friend to make some custom dividers. I like the versatility of the Tenba sling, since it can be "gutted" to create a glass taxi. I'm actually able to get the following in this sling:
D300 with Grip and 17-35 f2.8 attached
slot for some filters
space for a 50mm f1.8
space for an SB-600
space for a Gary Fond Collapsible Light Sphere with accessories
space for a 70-200 f2.8 (!!!)
And some room left over!

I've got my Gorillapod SLR-Zoom on the outside, as well as my Promaster monopod. If I need my tripod, I'll just have to carry it. Even under 5lbs with head, it is still too big and heavy for a sling bag...

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this bag. My plan is to make some custom dividers, since the supplied ones aren't working without some issues. I'll get pictures of the setup (some day). However, since this section is so dead, I don't imagine pictures will actually be missed for quite awhile....
