Canon and Nikon can suck it. Olympus FTW.

Mainly cause I'm a cheapass and can't afford a better camera...

I personally use Nikon but don't have a problem with Canon.

E-510, stock 14-42 and 40-150 Zuiko lenses ($650 shipped for everything when I bought it a couple years back)... looking to get a zoom lens next (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Macro_ED.html)

hmmm, well I don't see why you say youre a cheap ass and couldn't afford anything better cuz I got my buddy and his wife a Rebel XTi with a 17-55mm and 70-300mm for the same price for their wedding gift a few years ago.

Ok maybe I just suck at shopping then. Rebel XTi's with just a single kit lens were running for more than $650 when I was looking around.

Ah. Yeah I think the XT was off my radar when I was shopping for some reason (probably because I was only looking for the latest and greatest)

XT is still a pretty decent camera, I know there's always new technology each year for new models but for a basic camera, it does everything it needs to.

I'm a big fan of the ep-1 and used a demo model for an hour or so, only to be disappointed Aperture wasn't supporting the Olympus raw format.

I was ready to buy one, and when I ran across that I decided to wait.

canon kr00 checkin in...but a knowledgeable friend that shoots olympus actually tried to push me in that direction. the xsi just happened to feel better in my hands. plus i was coming from a canon point and shoot, so i was familiar with the menu which was also a plus.

4/3 is too small. Olympus don't have a FF body do they?
