This event was about 2 weeks ago, pretty cool event. BMP was supposed to hold their first legit track day, but got canceled due to the track not being completed. Instead they held a free track day for the people who signed up.

No race gear allowed (helmet, r compounds, blah), we were also limited to a max speed 90mph, and 7/10 of the car's potential in the turns.

overall it was a cool event with a ton of seat time.

I gave panning shots my first try, made a mistake of starting out with really low shutter speeds. Had a hard ass time keeping the car in focus. Also shot with a 28-90. Anyways here are the pics, let me know what you think:

Ya I think had you shot a touch faster your panning would have been a little better/sharper

like seth said, for a lot of the moving ones, a smidge faster shutter prob would have been the trick, but its still sweet

Thanks for the help guys! My first attempts I started at 1/60 and worked my way up, I should have started at like 1/200 and went down. It was really hard for me to keep the cars in focus at my first attempt. Should have a lot more opportunities next season tho, with a bigger lens.
