Hello all,

I was linked here from Adam's Polishes forum and thought I would join the fun!

Here are some shots I took from this years Championship races at Laguna Seca:

Right before the Porsche spun the Vette

Forgot to add: All shots taken with a D300 and 70-200/2.8 lens. All action shots were in Aperture priority anywhere from 1/60 to 1/250.

A little practice. Friday was the 'practice' day which is when I was shooting at 1/60-1/80. I only got a few good ones from that day (the mazda open wheel was a friday shot) but it was good practice/warmup for the weekend. 1/60 at 135mm on a car flying by at 100mm downhill wasn't easy. A lot of my shots only had part of the car sharp. I was panning horizontally fine, but not vertically.
