I think that some of the best pictures of the ones posted involve backgrounds that are either of similar colors or of contrasting colors. The Lambos up top and the "Natty Dread" Porche match parts of the background of the photo, while the BMW contrasts pretty strongly with the blue sky. The 930 porche photo is pretty poor in my opinion because of the poor placement in the frame. Also, because of the cars surrounding it, it looks very ordinary, like a scene that I have already seen several times.

I like this one because the car and the forklift have similar colors, and the whole car is in the shade too. No glare. Framed well.

The composition is off...the tree coming out of the roof is distracting...maybe blur it more? The front bumper of the car behind should be cropped/cloned out. Possibly even clone out the cars behind it, then blur the background...

I like the composition...but I think it is cropped to tight to the front and rear of the car...
The orange cylinders on the ledge could be colored the same as the ring on the front of the car. Also, the pebble directly in front of the car and the two brown things by the door need to be removed.

Also...If one was ambitious, they would take out the building, and make the fence identical from the left of the frame, to the right.

I actually think the opposite in terms of the colors. The photo makes great use of many neutral tones - lots of greys and desaturated colors which makes the eyes go straight to the bright orange of the car and really makes it pop/stand out. The orange in the forklift is just an accent and the red roof of the warehouse offers some other color so you don't feel like the pic has NO color in it, yet its still in the same tonal family as the orange so it feels related. I do, however, agree with the no glare, well framed composition... Its far enough away to give you a good overall view of the scene and various elements yet its also not TOO far away where you lose the focus of the photo (the car) and feel disconnected.

I actually am not a fan of this one. I don't like the crop on it, while I understand it (so you can see the sun) I think it needs more space on the front end of the car, If this was shot at like 8ft away, they should have backed up about another 8ft at this focal length and then recentered the shot so the sun was partially bleeding off the page in the upper corner, but also offered equal or greater space at the front end of the car than the distance of the back end of the car to the right side of the frame (god I hope that makes sense).

1: The mood is great here and the coloration fits. I love how the treeline seems to mimic a windtunnel airstream!!
2: Colors are great here too! The orange really pops! As a few have mentioned how the other orange -> red tones really make the car look at home in the shot. I however don't like the placement of the car. It is far too centered. 3: Great car, but I don't feel there was any photographic effort here. Looks like a car sighting, shot with the handy P&S. 4: Mood is great here! I feel that I am in a damp, dark environment when I see the image. 5: This shot looks very amateur. There is a wild distortion on the front bumper and the post work is very noticeable. I can't help but point out that the sideways hourglass vignette looks very unrealistic and the composition doesn't suit the car; forced to the left of the frame. It makes the right half of the shot seem pointless. Rule of thirds would be much preferred here, there is no rule of halves. ![]() 6: Composition is good here. I love the grain ![]() 7: I find the lighting to be quite poor here. The left is too hot and the shadow too sharp. It doesn't please the eye. I don't find the composition at all interesting either. 8: I think there was potential for a much better shot here. Maybe if we saw more of the distant cars in the mist and less of the fans on the left. Mood is great, still. I adore the reflections over the car body covered in raindrops! 9: I'm not a fan of the extreme processing, so ill try to ignore that and otherwise critique. Showing the tread side of the tire really breaks the lines of the car, maybe take from the other side? I don't like the tilt you have on the shot from that angle, it seems like its trying too hard to frame the whole car. Maybe step back and include more background. I would suggest not center-weighting the car as well. 10: I love the tone and the pure wall and car make great contrast to the dirty, distorted reflection in the ground. Centered subject is great when there is symmetry! Please do not take offense to my comments if these are your photos. I only hope to give you direction to improve.
