Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV - AutoPhotog : Photo Enthusiasts/Pros Forum

So I had a spur of the moment opportunity to shoot this brand new, number 000 of 350, Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670-4 "SV". This car won't be sold and is traveling from dealer to dealer around the US for the "unveiling" of it to the public. I was lucky to have a friend with a regular Murcielago Spyder set this up and come along so we can get some side by side shots of them.

Everything on this car is f**king crazy. The rear wing and engine hatch thing are all CF, the door panels inside are all CF, most of the engine covers are CF. Seats are CF, other odds n ends on the inside, you get the picture haha. Sounds amazing as well.

Man that car needs a studio session. The backgrounds are a bit busy, but the car is lovely. Lots of nice details in it.

i really think that second shot would have been better if the door was closed.

personally I think the doors are all personal preference. To me the vertical doors on a Lamborghini are part of what MAKES it a Lamborghini. Why not show them off? I think there are more on my Flickr, lots of the shots I did doubles of...one with the door up and one with it closed. Plus the door up shows the crazy attention to detail of the car in some shots. You see the stitched yellow SV, the carbon fiber doors, the seats, ect.

Your shots are good and I can see you have the eye for it, but that location??

A loading dock and dumpster is befitting a civic but not a lambo!

I don't mean to be offensive lemme know if im criticizing too harshly.

no you're not being offensive. but like i said, i was called about this shoot and was told "get here as quick as you can" lol. i didnt really have much choice in location. they drove it across the street to this spot behind a jewel and i just shot pics. i NEVER realized the dumpster there, at least it never bothered me (and still doesnt really) until people started complaining/commenting on it.

but thanks for the kind words guys. Hopefully I'll be shooting more one on one Lambo/Ferrari/exotic stuff soon. I alwasy do the cruises with them but sould be doing private stuff soon

Quick question: How are you getting the sky so blue and contrasty? Are you using a lens filter or is that all processing? All these shots are absolutely gorgeous and I cant get over the awesome colors and contrast.

I personally enjoy the backdrop, it's a bit different from what you usually see a lambo being shot in, and that contrast is quite nice. However, i think they would really benefit from having the WM logo on the dumpster removed.
