like a few photos from the 1st post, look like that some of the details,
we exposed thru a lot of fill light or recovery in Raw mode..
and the white blance is somewhat on the pink(ish) side..

the pink-ish tint was fixed, i just forgot to replace the photo's in my photobucket :S

no, i have actually been having problems with raw on my camera, they do not seem to want to open up. on any computer, ive tried a few, so since i didnt have raw, and nothing for lighting, this entire shoot was done w/ long exposures and HDR, so that might be some of the effect you are seing.

super easy! you do two shots (from a tripod so they are the exact same image) one with the hood open, one w/ it shut. and you just overlay the hood closed image over top the one w/ it open, and than just erase whatever you want visible.

you can also do it with a long exposure, but its harder to get.

its kind of fun, you can do the same thing with doors, door open, door shut w/ someone in the car.
