I really need to upgrade off of this free software so I can selectively adjust saturation, contrasts etc....

But comment away, good, bad, or ugly.

Taken on the way to work this morning.

I personally don't like the amount of blue in the snow but... Also in a larger picture blue colors show up in the trees etc... But in that size it looks ok.

you might be able to adjust your levels to make the snow whiter. or adjust your white balance.
