Monthly Contest #2 (December)

Welcome to our 2nd official photo contest here on AutoPhotog.com. If you missed our 1st one, I will explain again how this all works. Myself (or another Mod/Admin) along with the winner of the previous contest will choose a "theme" or "topic" and your photos will have to be within the topics boundaries. The contest will have a designated submission period and contestants will submit a photo during this time. After the submission period has ended we will make a poll and then we'll see who the winner is by popular vote (everyone votes and yes you can vote for yourself). The goal of these contests isn't to win, or a popularity contest or whatever. It's to get you out there shooting different things, trying different techniques and furthering your skills as a photographer. However, should you happen to win, your winning photo will be posted into the AutoPhotog Photo Contest Hall of Fame and bragging rights for a full month will be yours. You MUST have at least 10 posts & be a member for 3 days to join the contest and to vote (This is to keep a non-forum member from coming here and stealing your prize!!)

Prize this month:
1-yr Flickr Pro membership

RULES: (FYI these will seldom change)

-Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Autophotog.com rules is welcome.
-You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
-One submission per contest.
-Images must be no larger than 800px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 800px for the poll.
-All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on here).
-All images must have a title. <---- DON'T FORGET!!!
-While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture for review.
-Cloning adjustments will be allowed in this contest if needed.

*Any photo that does not meet the above requirements will be left out of the poll.*

THEME:

Photography: "What Makes the Shots?" –We want to see either a piece of your equipment or someone doing something for/with photography (i.e. taking a picture, getting a set put up, a model on set, a lighting set up, whatever you can think of that relates). This is a pretty broad topic so I think we will have some great artistic submissions.
SUBMISSION PEROID:

Entries must be submitted via PM to The Contest Guru <<<THIS IS A MEMBER NAME (via PM) no later than Monday Dec 28th @ 11:59PM GMT (Central). Any late submissions will not be included in the poll.

-Subject: your photo title/contest name
-Body: your pic (800x800 max)

The poll will start on Tuesday, Dec 29th and last 1 full week.
