Noob from OKC
Hey everyone, names Jason
been a photographer on the side for a year and a half. First started out doing Car Shows then started to do "Model Photography", and did one Wedding. Im using a Canon 40D, i have two lenses; Canon EF 28-135 and a Canon EF 50mm. I plan on buying a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM and a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM in the near future. Other than that thanks for having me on the fourm, so far i like it. here are a couple pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

nice shots!!
looks like your future basket of gear will be a fun time ![]() that 85mm lens is unreal...the 16-35 is okay from my usage at least...not sure that I love it on FF? have had better results with the 24-70 to be honest...but I am looking to pick up the 14mm 2.8 L II at some point for the real wide shots

^ I'm with Stoopid
I have the 16-35mm on my 40d... its excellent but on a Mk II full frame you'll want something not as wide for a walk around lens. The 16 is REALLY wide on the full frame. 24-70mm is the one to go with for sure.
