I need a lighting kit?

I'm looking to get maybe another sb600 and a tripod?

What do I need to make it so I can run it wireless and on a tripod, maybe 2 sb600's? I have a d300.

Cybersync trigger and 2 recievers, but you might need a hotshoe mount to plug them into the flashes. I'm not sure if sb600s have the port.

Your D300's built in flash will act as a commander to remotely fire the SB-600 (or two or more...) The SB-600's cannot act as commanders themselves, you need an SB-800 (discontinued) or an SB-900 to do that.

The built in flash is limited to "line of sight" firing, meaning the flashes' sensors must be able to see the D300 flash light. Cybersync or Pocketwizard remotes would allow for greater placement flexibility, but the SB-600's don't have remote sync cord outlets.

I'd suggesting finding either an SB-800 used or an SB-900 before addng another SB-600 to the mix.
