Well the first shot, you need a tripod. Try experimenting with multiple exposures and play with that white balance.. nobody likes that yellow concrete :P
You don't have to always center the car, experiment with your composition. 2 is good, but the car is a little lost. On 3 and 4, I would try and get more sky and attempt to recover it in post. Do you shoot raw? If you do, you can get an exposure that will let you still recover the clouds etc. As far as the last one... don't cut off the car. It would have been cool to get that shot from a profile view. Just my $0.02. Lemme know if my critique is too harsh, just trying to help you improve! |

good enough might not even be right. You just need to be able to manipulate your camera more (shutter speed, Aperture ect...) because often the camera's auto function doesn't know what you are trying to do.

A long exposure and small aperture could create the starred effect.
Watch your background - too busy - especially the electric sub station. You have poles, etc growing out of the car - distracting. Get rid of the tilted camera -- especially when you are dealing with something everyone knows is level and straight, like the horizon (in your case) or buildings. |

You have some interesting shots in there. Keep in mind a black car is tough to shoot. Silver is the best. Also most of your shots look underexposed to me. Your locations are ok. Work on angles, lighting, and proper exposure.
Good luck. Keep shooting.
