I like the depth of field, but I think the composition needs to be cropped a bit perhaps, to pick a more specific purpose for the picture. If you asked me what the theme was without telling me, I should be able to fathom a reasonable guess, and I dont think I can with the current crop.
I do like the darks/lights though, its well balanced lighting for the subject which keeps it interesting. Id say just toy with some crop options first, see if you can make it more focused on a particular subject?

im not sure if you wanted to go for 100% b&w, but if you were, theres a bit of green/yellow in the bottom left. id bump the saturation down all the way just for good measure or you could just brush in some desaturation. also, there seems to be a bit of pixelation throughout the bottom part of the image. it could just be photobuckets terrible hosting, though
