1st one is the winner for me. Cool shot.
Have you tried tilt the camera up a little? Or rotated to portrait format? I think the drip is on the top too much.

yeah, i tried a few different variations, i didint have much to work with. i was using a pretty small drinking glass and didnt want to have my background (detergent bottle lol) visible, i got some neat pics with the bottle though, i just thought these were the best.

I tried shooting things falling into my GIANT glass, but 1 eye on the subject, the other one is in the finder, flashes etc.. made my stomach sick. So I gave up..

lol, yeah i could see that making me sick too. i set the camera up on a tripod and dripped water into the glass w/ my other hand and watched for the drip to hit the water, and not the camera, so i didnt have that problem....if that makes sense lol

i think its too dark... brighten it up (possibly even reshoot) then worry about the shadows
