camera shot :)

Hi!
How do you like this one?

Shot with nikon D40 and sigma 50-150 f2.8. That lens is awesome sharpness, contrast, everything. Sadly, not mine

C&C Please!

Thanks,
Peter

I like it, I think its a good composition, and i like the use of D.O.F. Starts off out of focus from left to right so it draws your eye towards the body, which i am guessing is right where you wanted.

yup, noise. That is where the D40 fails. It was shot @iso800 in not so bad lightning conditions (forest).

Canon is better The bad chromatic aberration like this Sigma. Green glow around the logo.

pictures looks kinda boring to me. Get different angles on the person holding the camera then it would look cooler.

I looked on the raw picture and there is no CA. I guees it came out bc of the post processing.
I'm not sure if Canon is better, but I got a 30D a 50mm f1.8 and a 70-200 L f4 to play around a bit and I'm sold.
I wish I could try out a d300s and nikkor 70-300 f2.8 combo.. but that is a different category..

agree on boringness. I'll try different angles next time. This was a point and shoot catch

Good control of DOF. Suggestions for composition: remove the camera strap and ask the model not to squint quite so hard (she looks a little pained).
