Art Project: Drifting
Ok, no, the topic wasn't drifting but it had to be a poster advertising something...so I used a photo I had taken from last summer at a Formula Drift event and P'shopped it. I had plans to add more text to make it look like a real advertisement for the particular event, including names of the drivers next to their cars, sponsors at the bottom, and a Breaking Point logo that I would have taken from their website, but I'm not too good at working with text in P'shop, so I just left it as is.

looks good :D especially since Rhy's GC is in it :D
as far as fancy text, what i normaly do is go to a site like Good-Tutorials - Newest Tutorials and click photoshop, then browse text effects until i see one i like or that fits. they show step by step instructions for text effects |

i like the poster, maybe just a smidge more contrast on the cars?
as for fancy text...depends what you mean, but I'd try some variant of helvetica
