the sun, while providing a nice backdrop, makes the exposure off. she's a bit washed out at the top, but not at the bottom. some of the leaves are properly exposed, others aren't. the fact there isn't a recognizable ( & level) horizon bothers me. the colors are nice, but again, the saturation is off at the tip of the red flower because of the sun. if the saturation and contrast were improved there, things would be much better.

its something i would have tried on the spot but, i would have maybe tried to center her head in the open space if that makes sense? than used a low flash. i would maybe crop it to the right a little, or crop off the right? lol im not sure how to explain that, but the black void to her back is a little heavy.
but i do really like the colors, and the composition is close, and its always way easy when you have a good looking model ![]() i wonder what it would be like if you cropped it way in? so you just have her face and the flower? you think that would help it ?

Well,
I was going to start reviewing your GF but couldn't find many flaws... j/k The horizon level messes with me... colors I think are fine but the DOF seems off. Either needs to go one way or the other more... Also the other things as stated above. Last edited by RusherRacing; 12-15-2009 at 01:48 PM. |
