pretty simple. tripod. desklamp. Had the tire perpendicular to the desklamp. turned it about 60 to 70 degrees clockwise, so as to light up the "kumho" while keeping just enuf sidelight to make the txture pops on the sidewall. i believe f/8 at 10 seconds. ill have to check that to make sure.
