Polaroid Transfers

Did this a few years back in my experimental photos class and just found them while I was cleaning out my closet.

I really had fun doing this... just wanted to share a few (not all) from a set I did for my final project.

so, the story goes like this...
boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy, then boy falls in love with girl, girl then tells boy that diamonds can't cut through wood, then boy tells girl that when the diamond robots come to attack, the boy and girl will live in a log cabin and the robots won't know what the hell is going on...
end of story... lol

You take a slide and put it in this thing called a daylab. Then you expose the polaroid from the day lab and take the wet side (negative) and roll it onto your desired surface (card stock or whatever). And this is what you get.

I'm thinking of buying a daylab now... hmmmm is $400 bucks worth it?
