My Holden VE SS/V - AutoPhotog : Photo Enthusiasts/Pros Forum

Well to start a brand new section and thread i thought I'd throw up some shots of my Holden VE SSV Commodore.. the car the G8 is based off of.

She runs a 6 spd manual box and 3.45:1 IRS LSD. She also runs the Chev L98 6.0 Liter V8 and an ATI HO Procharger supercharger kit. Makes 453 rwhp and 742 nm's of torque or 338rwkw's.

Anyways onto a few shots

Easy to make it the Holden version just change the front grill back to the Holden one and put the rear badge back on the boot lid

. I've just added some Chev badges too it from the exports to Saudi Arabia etc

You can get that wing from a guy by the name of Crazy Paul over on the G8 boards. I think all G8's come stock with that little lip spoiler and thats the only option we have.

I love it!! If the G8 is its cousin.. what's the GTO? Like the step child? lol. Super sexy car though, sexy wheels everything! Oh especially the boost.

Hey, DR! Good to see you over here and posting shots.

The only thing that sucks about the lip wing over here and the SS/V wing over there, is that the holes don't match up for the mounting, so everyone has to have their original holes filled in, plus get the lid repainted, and it becomes a bit spendier than just buying the wing and slapping it on. I suppose if I could find someone with Voodoo Metallic that wanted to trade their whole boot lid, it would probably be easier!
