Few shots from Smart Studios in Madison, WI
Amazing studio I've worked at on a few lucky occasions. This is home of Butch Vig (who is the drummer of Garbage and has produced some amazing albums withhis band Garbage as well as others like Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters and Green Day). Butch works closely with a studio down in Chicago called Gravity and my old producer happened to have worked out of Gravity for about 8 years so he knows Butch very well and because of that, Butch basically gives him studio time at 30% of what it normally cost. Because of THAT, my buddy and I take full advantage of having a kick ass, top notch A room studio at our disposal for a mere $300 for an 18 hr day.
Anyway, I took a few shots in the control room while we were recording a song for my buddy's sister last week (didn't have much time) and thought I would share them. This is also the 1st batch of stuff I have done in Lightroom V2.5... I just got it this weekend and I have to say it's a very jazzy little program, I'm really liking it. Anyway thanks for looking...
