Automatic Watermark?
I installed the auto-watermark function for the albums, figuring that it would make it easier for people on here to post pics elsewhere if they wanted. It would also prevent people outside the site from stealing your pics if you havent put watermarks on them...
at the same time, I think it might come off as trying to show ownership of your work, and thats not the intent. Anyone interested in this feature? at least for a little while? Ive turned it off for now...pending the results of this poll

It would only auto-mark those pictures actually hosted here on the forum, not linked photos from other hosts (Flickr, etc.), right?
If that is the case, maybe a check box option during the upload to "add watermark?" I didn't vote though...

it would only apply to photos hosted here, and in reality it doesnt actually modify your image that is uploaded, it only displays it with a watermark (ie..it overlays an image over yours when displaying the album view)...
and unfortunately theres no way to selectively do it as of yet....its either, all albums use the overlay, or none

if you added a bit above the watermark that said "Hosted By:" there wouldnt be a problem. and it might be even more tempting for users that see the image in different places on the internet.

not a fan of the auto water mark. what exactly would be the purpose of it have THIS sites name on it? except to get more exposure for this site of course.
